The annuel fête, which formally kicks off the Metropolitan Museum of Art's yearly Costume Institute exhibit, always brings in a bevy of style stars, from models to designers to Hollywood's A-list. This year the theme was "Punk: Chaos to Couture," there were expectations to see plenty of studding, black leather, mohawks and funky make-up! The event was hosted by Anna Wintour, Rooney Mara, Riccardo Tisci and Lauren Santa Domingo, the gala also has Beyoncé as 2013's honorary chairperson. Below are a few of our picks for best/worst dressed looks:

Balenciaga, Givenchy, and Isabel Marant, are just a few of the designers that were seen yesterday on fashionistas outside of Lincoln Center for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. I literally was in awe watching all of these astonishingly dressed women! New York Fashion Week is such an amazing event to attend, it makes me fall in love with fashion and New York all over again, and then again. I wanted to share a few of my best dressed picks from yesterday as well as pictures of the famous Anna Della Russo and Mr. Joe Zee! Talk about star struck!
