I've always wanted to visit Chicago because I have heard nothing but great things about it, the food, the architecture, the lake, the shopping, Wrigley Field. So last weekend, I did just that, and i highly recommend booking a trip there(in the summer, of course)! I wanted to share some of my favorite spots I went to & show off my favorite looks that I wore, from Ooh of course throughout the weekend!
Cloud Gate aka “The Bean” is a public sculpture that is the centerpiece of AT&T Plaza at Millennium Park in the Loop community area. Made up of 168 stainless steel plates welded together, its highly polished exterior has no visible seams. It is a perfect picture taking landmark!
MY PIC WAS A LOT BUSIER, LOL:
Buckingham Fountain is a landmark in the center of Grant Park. It is one of the largest fountains in the world.
The Signature Room at the 95th located in the Hancock Building is a must. The views, although I went on a rainy evening are unreal! The menu was amazing, as well as the service. *definitely make a reservation beforehand
I must say swimming in Lake Michigan was just like swimming in the Caribbean waters, which I did not expect! So refreshing, and the views on the boat we were on were spectacular! *Wish that was my yacht!
Navy Pier was a cool area also. There are lots of restaurants, bars, a nice area to just walk around & if you have time and aren’t afraid of heights, the Centennial Wheel had some amazing views!
There was so much to see during each walk around all areas of the city, I loved the artwork and the architecture! the overall vibe of the city was awesome! How cute is this painting on a side of a building?!
And lastly, the famous Wrigley Field for a Cubs game. Unfortunately they lost but it was so much fun!
My two favorite Ooh outfits that I wore!
