End Of Summer Bucket List
Summer is quickly coming to an end and back to school shopping has begun. It’s always a little sad to see our days get shorter and feel the air get cooler. But don’t let that get you down! There are plenty of fun activities and places to go before fall officially starts. Your favorite Ooh gals put together a must do local end of summer bucket list. You don’t have to travel too far to enjoy this beautiful weather :)
Sayville: Sail Priscilla
Priscilla has been sailing since 1888, owned by oyster men until 1963 from Connecticut to New York. In 1963 owner John Woodside sailed her to the Bahamas and Main several times. John donated her to the Suffolk Marine Museum in 1976. Restoration of Priscilla started in 2002, returning her to her original design. You can now book a 2 hour sail on Priscilla, sailing from The Snapper Inn Restaurant on the Connetquot River in Oakdale. Bonus, if you book on the weekend, you get a $30 voucher for the Snapper Inn. Huntington: Prime an American Kitchen And Bar
For brunch to dinner entertainment check out Prime, located along Huntington Harbor. Nothing beats dinning alfresco on the porch or grabbing drinks at the Wave Bar. The water views are all the entertainment you will need.

Babylon: Belmont Lake state Park
This park is mainly visited by families seeking outdoor gatherings, picnics, and light sporting activities. Want to work off some of those picnic calories or work up an appetite? For 15 bucks you rent a pedal boat or rowboat on the lake. This is summer fun that won’t break the bank :)

Long Beach: Long Beach Movie Nights
Outdoor movies on the beach, yes please! Another fun, budget friendly activity to enjoy before summer ends. Grab some friends or gather up the family and enjoy a movie classic on the beach. Don’t forget to bring some snacks and something to sit on.
