A Day in Huntington!

Welcome to Huntington, an eclectic town on the north shore of Long Island, home to a huge assortment of restaurants, bars and shops. Not to mention, great beaches and boating spots! I made a little guide to help you navigate through this town I am lucky to call home.

1. Kiss My Cake

Kiss my Cake opened in 2012 and has quickly made a name for themselves with fabulous desserts, made with only the freshest ingredients. Their French Macarons are amazing! As are their cakes, cupcakes and gelato. New for 2016, they will be serving lunch: chopped salads and smoothies!

2. Little Vincents

If you have never tried the Cold Cheese slice from Little Vincents, you NEED to ASAP!! It is a hot slice of pizza topped with cold mozzerella cheese. I can assure you this will be the best slice of pizza and your taste buds will love you.

3. Sedoni Gallery

23 years ago, Sedoni Gallery opened right in town. This gorgeous shop is a destination store and totally worth the trip. From handbags to pottery to jewelry to furniture, you name it and they sell it. It is totally worth checking out and it's impossible to leave empty handed.

4. Prime

Want dinner with a view? Then Prime is perfect for you! Dress yourself up for a night out at Prime Steakhouse overlooking Huntington Harbor. You can choose from sushi, steaks and chops, surf and turf, or desserts (my fav part of the whole meal)

P.S. be sure to check out Huntington Ooh at their annual "Huntington Has Taste" fashion show every summer!

5. Paramount

Huntington is home to the Paramount theatre. It opened in 2011 and since then has showcased some of the biggest names in music, comedy and boxing. This venue is super fun and the ambiance pulls you right in.

6. Second Time Around

"Find your passion in last season's fashion!" This high-end consignment has something for everyone. From Chanel to Tory Burch, you're sure to find something for a steal. Everything is priced at 1/3 of the original retail value, and they have frequent sales, so you can get designer items for up to 70% OFF! Looking to clean out your own closet? They are always looking for new consignors. But don't forget, you have to make an appointment before you go in.

7. Ooh la la Huntington

Last but not least, don't forget to check us out at 306 Main Street (Next to lacrosse unlimited). Six years ago, Huntington Ooh la la was born. If you need some retail therapy, we're here to help you find exactly what you're looking for!

I hope you fall in love with this town that i'm lucky to call home and that you'll make a trip here soon!!

Xoxo, Victoria

Nothing can beat Huntington Village. It has an assortment of delicious foods, wonderful entertainment, and fashionable boutiques! My favorite thing to do in the village on a late Friday night is go to Little V’s and grab a classic cold cheese slice. Thank you for being amazing Huntington Village!
