TRENDS TO TRY IN 2016

2016 is quickly approaching. With that said, it is time to jump on the bandwagon and do the whole new year, new you thing. A great way to do so is to step out of your comfort zone and add some different styles to your wardrobe. It’s a fun, and fashionable way to welcome the new year! Check out some of my top trend picks to try in 2016!

Exposed Shoulders

Expose a little skin in the New Year. While off-the-shoulder has always been a big hit, this coming season's take on the trend is a little more dramatic, with bolder sleeves adding just the right amount of appeal. The Simply Irresistible Off–The-Shoulder Top in black or burgundy will do just the trick.

Pajamas

Yes you read this right, pajamas! Keep it casual or dress it up with PJs in 2016. It may sound crazy (and comfortable, lol) but we have listed two tips to wearing your PJ’s whether it is any of our Night Tees, or your favorite matching pajama set.

1. If you're going to choose a matching pajama set, try silk and wear with a stiletto like our example shown (we don’t sell that set, but she looks so cute!) Pair your favorite set with a cropped jacket and some fabulous winter accessories, and you will be owning this trend!

2. A pajama top, like our Sweet Dreams Night Tee is a chic alternative to a traditional button-down shirt. Paired with boyfriend or skinny jeans and a knit cardigan, it's is a perfect look for casual winter activities.

Velvet

Velvet is another trend that we encourage you to try. Go for great cuts, very sleek and feminine. Velvet looks amazing in deep reds, blues, greens and black. You can try a complete velvet look with the Oh, Behave Wine Velvet Dress or add little accents of velvet with the Forest Beauty Velvet Kimono. Both styles paired with a dark lip color and a bold hairstyle will instantly give you a seductive, yet beautiful and glamorous vibe.

Winter White faux fur

The faux fur trend is showing no signs of slowing down, and we are pretty excited about it. From fur ponchos, to scarves, to vests, to coats it is a guaranteed added oomph of luxury. This winter, accent your wardrobe with soft, winter white styles, like our Glamazon Ivory Fur Jacket, or our Glamorous Fur-Ever Yours Ivory Cardigan Poncho. Both are statement looks and will make you the best dressed in the New Year!

Fringe

Fact: If you're not rocking fringe already, come Winter 2016 you will be, it is continuing to have a major moment. Embrace the playfulness of fringe this winter, and give your hemlines a flouncy appeal, giving you a bohemian inspired vibe. Try our No Worries Fringe Sweater (available in more colors) or our Peace and Comfort Vanilla Poncho (available in a cement color also) to look and feel fabulous in the new year.

Happy New Year!
