best golden globes dresses of the last decade
In honor of the offical award season kick off tonight, were recapping some of our favorite dresses of globes past!
Back in 2000, more than a decade ago, SJP walked the red carpet in this flawless blush beaded gown by Richard Tyler proving that both she and Carrie are style icons.
Courteney Cox not only managed to pull off a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit but she made it unbelieveably classy, continuing her reign as the queen of understated elegance.
Not only did she win the Golden Globe for best actress in 2004 Charlize Theron won in the style stakes too, wowing in this beautiful Christian Dior lemon yellow floor-skimming gown.
Back in her OC days, Mischa Barton stunned in this cream dress with a daring cut out panel.
A typical look from the blonde bombshell, Scarlett Johansson certainly knows how to get heads turning. The actress teamed her bold red dress with co-ordinating shoes, Hollywood curls and a sultry pose.
Naomi Watts owned the red carpet in 2007 with this sky blue Gucci number, which had metallic embellishments across the bust and down the sides. A high-shine clutch and soft swept-up locks were the perfect finishing touches.
Letting her simply divine pink satin Chanel gown do the the talking, Cameron Diaz kept her beauty notes to a minimum, leaving her long blonde locks loose and lovely.
Emily Blunt was pretty-as-a-picture in this romatinc baby pink Dolce & Gabbana gown in 2010.
A contender for best gown if ever we saw one, Anne Hathaway gave a glittering turn in a mermaid-like antique rose Armani Privé gown, with bold shoulder detailing in 2011.
At once romantic and utterly sexy, this look screams best dressed. Charlize paired the shell-colored Dior gown with Givenchy sandals and Cartier jewels last year.
Who are you most looking forward to seeing tonight at the Globes? Any favorites that we've missed?
Happy awards season! x
