What to do and see in RVC!

Posted on November 18 2015

What better way to start your day then at Revolution Yoga? They offer workshops with world famous instructors, classes for all levels, and teacher training for anyone who is interested. Revolution Yoga has two practice spaces and a Green, Fair-Trade, Artesian Boutique with a Kids/Family studio in the back.

Friday night patrons enjoy a super BYOB Wine & Cheese Painting Party. Take your seat at an easel, and follow the instructor step-by-step to create a one-of-a- kind Canvas Creation! Paint Nights are BYOB, and ARTrageous provides the yummy snacks to enjoy while you create.

Salsa Mexicana the newest restaurant addition to RVC so we had to check it out! It has such a great atmosphere, wonderful service and super yummy food, of course! Anywhere that makes guacamole fresh their customers, holds a place in my heart (and stomach).

Another new Mexican hot spot in Rockville Centre is Mesita, located at  212 Merrick Road. The decor in the spacious restaurant is beautiful! We tried the queso fundido. tamales, cilantro wings, tostada and more and nothing disappointed it was all delicious! But nothing makes me happier than a perfect cocktail, the cucumber mojito was refreshing & the jalapeno margarita had a yummy kick! A must try!

Za Pizza is perfect for that fourth meal we all crave! Open until 4am for deliveries as well! S’more pizza please ; )

Stay tuned for the annual tree lighting ceremony at the Village Green on Maple Avenue. This is a great event to enjoy with friends and family to open up the holiday season. Don’t forget your hot cocoa!

Located at 222 Merrick Road, Ooh La La is your one stop shop for all things fashion. Have our staff style you for the night! The store gives off an intimate feel so it is like you have your own personal shopper. That's what every girl wants, isn't it?!
