Stephanie's Sweets: Beachin' Bears

These adorable little bite size cupcakes are the perfect way to capture summer time!
Make this creative dessert for any event, it will be the talk of the party!

Here’s what you’ll need:

Yellow Cake Mix
3 Eggs
1 Cup of water
½ cup of oil

1 Container of Frosting
Blue food coloring
Nilla wafers
Teddy grahams
Airhead sour belts
Lifesaver gummies
Mini party umbrellas

What you do:

1. Follow the directions on the cake mix and pour the batter into cupcake holders. You can get creative
with it and choose a beach themed cupcake liner or a bright pop of color!

2. While the cupcakes are baking, cut the airhead sour belts into about the length of a teddy graham
to create little mini beach towels. Dab a little bit of frosting on the flipside of the teddy graham and
place them on the towel so they stay secured. With the lifesaver gummies, stick the teddy grahams
in the hole to give the look of them floating in a tube.

3. In a plastic bag or even a blender, pour the nilla wafers in and start grinding them up to give the effect
    of sand.

4. The cupcakes should be just about done by now, take them out of the oven to cool so you can begin
the decorating process! Put a little bit of vanilla frosting on half of the cupcakes and sprinkle the “sand”
on the top of them.  Place the bear on his towel on the sand and stick an umbrella on top. On the others,
frost them with blue and place a little bear in a lifesaver on top.

*If you are feeling really creative, draw little bikinis and Speedos on the bears with icing pens!*

Serve them on a beach themed platter and just wait to see peoples reactions, they will LOVE them!
